You listened to what I had to say,
And for that, I am forever grateful.
I wish you the best of luck today.
Because this life… well, its a plateful.
I’m torn that I have to say farewell,
But I’ll love you all the same.
I was there with you when you first fell,
And though I can’t be that majestic dame
That you envisioned me to be,
I’ll be here for you whenever you need me.
