Forgetting and Forgotten

No one knows, No one cares
The lies just keep flying through the air
Creating pain and tears
Nothing will ever be the same
My heart will never want you again
You will never be welcome here
Just turn away, walk in the other direction.
Forget me and run.
Run away and never remember
The way I loved you
And the way you hurt me.
Forget all the lies you told
The hearts you broke.
Move on.
Go find another girl,
Your next victim.
Find another whole heart
And shred it to bits.
Forget me and everything else.
Just run and leave me
My heart shattered
And tears streaming down my cheeks.
You don’t care.
I didn’t have to tell you twice to leave.
You are gone
You just walked away like I was nothing.
Now you are the nothing.
The thing I won’t remember.
Keep on walking away and don’t look back
Because you won’t see me there.

I like the way you ended this poem: "because you won't see me there." It was very powerful and left the reader wondering. Good poets make the reader think and that's exactly what I'm doing right now! Check out some of my work, too if you'd like. Keep writing!

Nice poem. I like it.   P.S. I left "Telekenetics" off like that on purpose

This poem shows emotion which is very important for a poem. Thanks for reading my song. This can be a song too. All you just have to add is a chour to make it a song.
