Ode to the Clock

I love the clock so mathematic, and exact.
I watch it all day. It tells me when class is over or ready to begin.
Me and the clock
we know each other well.
I’m friends with clock as well as bell.
I watch that clock run day and night.
If it ever stopped I would have such a fright.
I watch its hands turn round and round.
Even now I hope it will not touch the ground.
Round and round the clock will go when it will stop nobody knows.
