You magnificent beast,
You cowardly gent.
I undertsand you least,
Yet our time was well-spent.
People call you by many names,
But I know you by one.
I can't help you now James,
No, not ever my son.
I raised you a man,
Yet you insist on this childish game.
Faced with commitment, you ran,
And now you question my shame?
You left a baby behind,
And a woman distraught.
You said you were feeling constrained,
But don't reject what you begot.
