It flies up, shimmering and glistening without a sound,
up towards the world of no death
The lighting strikes it, yet it is unharmed
The thunder roars in it's ear, yet it is unharmed
As it leaves behind this world of war and hatred,
it can hear voices crying out;
their souls begging to fly away
Yet it continues on
The rain beats against the glistening form, yet it is unharmed
The wind blows even the strongest trees over, yet it is unharmed
It is the soul of any person, wanting to leave for a better place;
a place where there is no death
