9/11 Heroes
Many in number responding to a call
September 11, 2001, a regular day that was all.
Or so they may have thought as they rushed to the scene
Unaware how much this moment would mean.
In they went into two buildings great
full of fire, full of courage, meeting their fate.
Many that day did not return.
As we remember, there is a lesson to learn.
Be brave and courageous;don't be scared.
Be ready and be prepared.
Be like those whose memories won't fade.
America will never forget what they did there that day.
