What is Love?
What is love, my kingly king?
Is it the way you kiss me, so?
Perhaps it's the way your arms embrace me,
and have yet to let me go.
It could be the light I see, flickering in your eyes.
It may even be each syllable
  of ever word you romanticize.
What is love, my nightly knight?
Is it the way you protect me, so?
Perhaps it's the way you steal me away,
and then plead with me, not to go.
It could be the way your lips meet my tears, whenever you see me cry.
It may even be the tangulation of our souls,
as your aura collides with mine.
I think I found love, my sweetest sweetheart.
It was in the way you kissed me, yes.
I found it in your arms,
as you held me against your chest.
I found it in the spark, when we first said hello.
and, most definitely, it was in the way you said,
"I love you more than you'll ever know."
I did find love, my angelic angel.
It was in the way you protected me, yes.
I found it in the way we ran away,
and the way I never know what's next.
I found love in the way you care for the scars upon my wrist.
And, as I asked you, "what is love?"
you kissed me, and whispered, "this!"
