She always watched with quiet eyes,
Her emotions reflected by their changes in size.
Her irises were the color of morning skies,
They were her shield, her mask, her disguise.
She observed as if what she saw was a prize,
She never faltered, she always tries.
She never spoke to disprove their lies;
She bites her tongue until she cries.
One day she escaped stealthily like secret spies;
She will run away until she flies.
