Listening to my heart
That was the time,
I realized-
Someone was listening to me, to my heart!
My heart , filled with joy
Was clapping in all its happiness
Someone could hear it!
My happiness when I feels
Someone is safe inside me
My worry when He says
Someone is sad inside me
The moment my heart
Burst out in tears
Someone listens to it
Like a keen student learning-
The first letter!
This is the day
Someone would call me 'mamma'
I slept quietly dreaming
Of the most innocent face of a heart!
I woke up from my sleep
The moment I felt Am I living in Earth?
Yes, but in the midst of devils!
My brain was right
My heart has dead
The most innocent face has been eradicated;
She is no more.

This is poem about the male domination and the parents who curze their faith when they are more blessed with a baby girl. 'Listening to my heart' also showcases the feeling of a mother.
