the memories that hurt the most
are the ones
of your smiles
of your hugs

and the memories of how you made me feel
so safe
and comfortable
and like i was the most precious
being on earth

but thats gone
because you're gone
forever

i hate memories
because they remind me
of all the good times

the times where
we laughed together
we played together

the times you told me
how beautiful
how precious
how perfect
i was- am

i love to relive those memories
for short amounts of time
before i fall
into a sobbing mess
for your memory
to pick up and comfort
again and again

but i hate memories
that come back
after i think i've gained control
just to cry again
