Could buy many things

Can’t buy everything
An inch of gold
Can’t buy one precious thing
An inch of time

didnt care for it until the end. i think it needed more emotion through the poem. otherwise i liked it

great anaphora. great build up in anticipation and subtle shift near the end. very nice.

I really love your ending. Before the ending, it simply appears that you are stating what an inch of gold could buy, but then you end with an inch of gold (money) can't buy you more time. It makes the theme of your poem a lot more poignant, but in a good way.
