Power Of Kindness
Power Of Kindness
It's A Cold And Rainy Day
And Greyness Falls In Sheets
Strangers Walk Their Lonely Ways
As Always, Each One To Each Other
I Walk My Own Grey, Shadowed Path
Between Giants Of Glass And Steel
Cold Day Mirrored In My Dark Mood
Loneliness Never Felt So Real
As I Walk Alone, So Do They
The Millions Of Faceless Others
They Don't Matter, They're Not Me
Alone We're Condemned To Wander
Until A Sudden, Brightened Eye
Catches My Own And Smiles
Don't Know To Whom This Eye Belongs
But It's Warmth Outlives The Miles
Now The Loneliness Seems Far Off
Cold Held Back By Just One Glance
A Stranger's Kindness In A Rock Hard Town
Was Kindness To Me, And Just By Chance
These Days Form Equations Of Lifelike Math
But A Simple Answer Never Seemed So Real
As The Day A Stranger Wasn't So Strange
And My Coldness Began To Warm, And Heal

=)
I feel the cold of the streets and the coolness of the people the writer meets through the author's words.
Thank you for taking me to another world. One so different from my own.
it is so real. it makes me think twice about people.
