Utter Darkness
I sit alone here
With the darkness of the night
 closing around me
I hear nothing for I am deaf
I see only the dark night around me
I am silently waiting for death
 In this utter darkness

 All there was is gone
 Slowly replaced
 By this pitch black blanket
That lets in no light or sound
 All voices drowned into silence
 Excpet for the singing
 Inside my head
 Singing 'I am death
 Come to me'
 Dragging me under
 Into inner peace
 And utter darkness

 All is over now
 Death has come and gone
 Guiding me into inner peace
 Where nothing is real
 And nothing is there
 No pain
 No sound or sight
 Only inner peace
 And utter darkness
