Sydney
Voices, buzzing in my head, words with no meaning, my legs running, unaware that they?re still moving, involuntarily sprinting, coached by desperation, night stomps down, smashing the light and replacing it with its eerie cover, sirens roar, blue and red flashing, heads are nodded, words escape throats, my legs slow to a halt, trembling with fear, dams unplug and rivers leak from my eyes, silence crashes down, erasing all distractions, and I think my life has just ended.
