The Masked Soul

I hate knowing what I know
Yet, through it all I glow
Inside I cry, scream and bleed
But outside I’m happy as one could be
People praise me as if I’m the lucky one
though only I see the sky without a sun
I may seem as if I take that of an idol's role
Yet, only I live through the masked soul.
