End of This World
For the time has come to end this world
Fire’s food is the fresh ground earth
Episodes of lives have unfurled
Like the wings of an angel at every birth.
The air’s so hot and suffocating
I can hardly breathe as my lungs tear
People scream and my heart is speeding
I feel all around me everyone’s fear
Waves of fire eat and eat
The smell of flesh burning all around
Fire gives off such an inexplicable heat
Melted flesh flows onto the ground
Blood boiling and steaming hot
Inside everyone’s veins
This fatal fait we have got
Everyone soon releases all their pains
This world must end, and we all know
But truly, I hate to see it go.
