My life,

My mind’s stressed, my heart's hurting as they close down the curtains. It’s the end of the show. I’m at the end of the road; this is it. Nowhere else to go. So many memories: some good, some bad, some happy, and some sad. I’m supposed to start a new chapter in my life; graduate high school, go to college, have a kid with my beautiful wife, but so far it hasn’t been going quite right. I moved so far away from my family and where I used to stay. I soon came to realize I could no longer act that way, but what can I say, I can’t just change that in a day. I know that today has exactly been a year, and I’m not there, I’m here. I can’t change the past, but I can make the future bright like the sun or full of darkness like the night;  today I know I will choose right.
