So this is how it ends?

Broken backs and hallowed smiles.

I never believed this could happen,

Not after all of my trials.

"Coddle my weakness,

Pitiless heart,

Rip me to pieces,

Tear me apart."

Like a vow in July,

I good as sang out that script.

I ruined my life,

My freedom, my happiness, was stripped.

You pulled me by threads

And expected a show,

But all you received

Was a hard-fisted blow.

I couldn't be yours,

Depression, mi amore,

Even then when I stood,

I learned how to soar.
