the forgotten nightmare of yesterday
My pain
 My suffering
 How it aches
 I know that its real
 Forever lingering in my heart
 I wish that I couldn't feel
 This emotion
 This sense of loss
 Never ending
 Always there
 Pulsing in my brain
 Surging in my chest
 It just doesn't seem fair
 Do others feel this way?
 This ever growing, pulsating emotion
How I long for it to vanish
So I could laugh and have fun
 Lying awake for hours
 Longing to sleep
 So this feeling will subside
This feeling of dread will be gone
 The forgotten nightmare of yesterday
