I've Got Life in the Palm of My Hands
Three little seeds
lay in the palm of my hands.
 Seeds that could bring forth
another three, or six or twelve seeds,
 rest in my arms.
 Oh, what they could do
 is unpredictable.
 Each will be unique,
and will have something to show.
I don't know what will come of them,
but I know it will be great.
My mistakes might have brought them here,
but who am I to say that
 they should not live?
I see my neighbor poke his seed
 till it cracks open
 and dies.
I see someone coming towards me.
The shadow of death follows it, and
I don't see even a faint of hope
 in it's eyes.
Oh, it is only my friend.
I say hi, but it moves closer
 and closer
 to my three little seeds.
 It say, 'Give me'
 as I scream,
'Please don't take my life away!'
