then you take it away
I had beautiful wings
Spread wide, ready to fly
I just had to jump
You told me to jump
So I did
My wings spread catching the wind
I was soaring
I wanted to fly for miles, days, months
But you pulled me back
You tied my wings, my beautiful wings
I could not fly anymore
You kept telling me to go, soar above the clouds
Every time I tried to spread my wings and jump I fell
Now my bodys on the ground
My wings, my beautiful wings are broken
You promised me I could see the world
Now I know life is full of empty promises
I'm calling out to you
It's all in your hands
