Think of the Earth as a man,
Imagine the wind as his caress,
And the lightning as his aggressive mood
Of the days without you,
And the days you treat him bad.

Think of the Earth as a child,
Imagine the rain as her tears
Of the days you neglect her
And the sun as her smile
Upon your embrace.

Think of the Earth as your aging Father,
And the snow his white hair upon
Your ignorance of his health.
And the dried cracks as his worry lines
Of how you can destroy mankind.
