“Lost in Thought”
Chaotic sounds of a moving world-- sounds of life.
Surely, they can swarm into a sane mind, instigating an ambivalent strife.
Locked from the outside world a minute, two, or three.
Yearning for peace and serenity; a desire for one’s own tranquility.
The profound simplicity of nature, with all its vibrant colors
Overlooked by the inevitable noises of daily wonders
The temptation to get lost,
To float away with the ocean’s waves at no cost
To fly carelessly through a sudden breeze
With ease
An island, to immerse or divert oneself in deep thought.
A resort where all of life’s troubles are brought.
A great ocean surrounding the beautiful, almighty land
Extraordinary flora and fauna inhabit the greenland.
A place, where the sounds of daily life are eliminated
All sounds--vroom, beep, click-- deleted
What’s left are one’s inner thoughts, free on a deserted island,
Pondered over midst the silence.
