today i read poems(poems that
imitated you)that swayed on sidewalks
and(the trees with branches like sidewalks)
i want you to know(please know this,dear)
that you are always with me(me,my mind)
for i will always be(allyours)only for your
              eyes.
i do love nothing(in the world)so much as you.
we will forever be joined(nothing will break mefromyou)
like cemented sky(titanium hearts);that clings to the stars
and i will(forever)read poems

(poems that imitate you)

The author's comments:

I recently watched a youtube video about E. E. Cummings and his interesting way of writing poetry. After watching it, I felt completely inspired to do a study of how he uses parentheses, semi colons, and spaces.

Side note: if you read the words inside and outside the parentheses separately, they're their own poem... :)
