The characters do fascinate indeed
Behold intriguing settings, any place
Instead of gaming I would rather read
To delve deep into books at my own pace
I’d better grab a bookmark just in case
Embrace the scents of pages, fresh or worn
So many different genres I will face
And all the wisdom my mind shall adorn

I was inspired to write this poem by my love for books. It is written in Iambic Pentameter, a type of poetry that Shakespeare was renowned for.
