Bi-Po-lar Dis-or-der
It is nothing but a part of me,
Controlling, angry, sad and bitter.
The way his mood strikes me in the morning,
Makes everyone around me disappear.
I want desperately to be free,
But somehow he holds on to my last bit of sanity.
I cling to the hope that someday,
I’ll be saved from the horrors I’m forced to live with.
Trying different medications to cope with, the illness he infects me with.
Until all is lost and I give up,
While others surround me drowning in fear and sorrow.
It consumed me and I stopped fighting.
