Loving
Sweet
Friendly
Funny
Trustworthy
Faithful

But.

Acne
Short
Big nose
Bed head
Fat
Glasses
-Ugly

Why can't we see
Through a different set of eyes?
The true picture of you
Comes from the inside.

Destroy all mirrors.
Make us blind.
Open our hearts and ears,
And let us judge now.

Today's society zooms up on what people look like on the outside, placing no real value on what's on the inside. When I wrote this poem, though, I don't know what I was thinking.. God made everyone beautiful on the inside AND out. Let's not forget that. And let us not only remember it- let's live it.
