The End
Blackness, that’s all I see
Nothing in sight, no one in front of me
The abyss is frightening, I want it to end
Though I know there’s no escape for me, my friend.
Are my eyes shut, or are they open?
Asleep or awake, living or broken?
I’ve no strength, I’ve lost it all
It’s been taken from me, consumed by this wall.
I’ve had no rest for a thousand years
Let me leave, I’ll come back my dears
This hall has reached its end, the darkness has lightened
I’ll come back someday, there’s no need to be frightened.
