What is religion?
A troubled subject some would say.
Confusing? Depending on how you look at it.
Learning. Knowing. Believing. Sharing.
This is the goal.
What’s the reality?
It’s Sunday.
If you wake up early enough it’s time for mass.
All through the hour there is extensive
Siting and standing,
Standing and kneeling,
Kneeling and siting.
A cute little older woman in a floral print dress shuffles to the stage,
The first reading is said.
Such a cutie, but such a quite voice.
Words whisper, thoughts drift.
What do I have to do today?
The work week starts tomorrow?
I wonder what time the game is on?
Last nights party was so much fun!
Siting and standing.
Watch out! Curve ball, singing begins.
You hum along to avoid the suspicious stares.
This is what Catholicism is about!
No.
False.
Negative.
Fail.
Learning. Knowing. Believing. Sharing.
Learning about your faith,
Could be the most important thing you achieve.
Knowing what your faith means is the greatest wealth you could imagine.
Believing in your faith gives life purpose,
Living it to the fullest day in and day out,
Realizing you believe in the truth.
Sharing your faith is like sharing any good news.
Simple and effective,
Yet done with the smile.
Learning. Knowing. Believing. Sharing.
The siting and standing and kneeling become a dance for the Lord,
We sing to the heavens praising His name!
