Watch the Weather change
Watch the Weather Change
I have come curiously close to the end,
So down.
Beneath my self-indulgent pitiful hole.
You see it.
Defeated one
Concede and
move closer. You may find comfort here
You may find peace within the emptiness.
How pitiful.
And in your darkest moment,
Fetal and weeping
The moon shares a secret, as if he is
Your confidant.
-As full and bright as I am, this light is not my own
A million light reflections
pass over me-
It's source is bright and endless. She
resuscitates the hopeless.
Without her we are lifeless satellites drifting,
We are.
But now, you and I, we
pull our heads out and we are without one doubt, we
Don't want to peer down here fueling this narcissism
We must crucify the ego before it's far too late
and pray the light lifts us out.
Before someone realizes it's just one mistake.
But the clouds still float lazily in the April twilit breeze,
blanketing the blue sea and comforting all, but you and me.
