9/11 Found Poem
Ash.
Glass.
Smoke.
Leaping victims.
Thousand of lives perished.
The most audacious terror attack,
In American history.
Hijackers armed with knives,
Left people useless.
Gorged with fuel and “headed” to California
Flight 175 and 11,
Plowed into the North and South tower.
Many firefighters, police, and rescue workers,
Perished.
Locating and removing survivors
Using dogs to find bodies.
The White House, The Pentagon and The Capitol,
Were evacuated.
Shock
Grief.
Solidary.
Spread rapidly through the city.
And the search for,
The people behind the attacks,
Begun.
