Unseen light
Golden rays of light shine through,
fluttering on her eyes gently.
She lays on her stomach steadily,
while her breaths are quite and slow.
A gentle breeze comes through the window,
moving her hair ever so slightly.
She begins to arise
Moving slow just like father time.
Her wet nose begins to twitch
Smelling the sweet scent of neighboring lilac.
She looks to me
With glossy eyes as white as snow.
She'll never be the way she was once,
But I will show her the light.
