Favorite Quote:
Glass is only brittle until it breaks.
Then it's sharp.

She was perfect

Everything everyone wanted to be

Had a kind heart, a nice smile,

The kind of laugh that made you happy.

She played piano and guitar,

Told jokes that made you smile,

Always did wonderful on tests

And was every teacher's favorite, meanwhile.

She loved to play sports

And had tons of friends

Was loved by her whole family,

Hung out on weekends.

But something fell apart,

And things didn’t seem right,

And suddenly she was numb,

No longer willing to fight.

Words she could once ignore,

Like a simple, "You're disgusting."

Made her realize that, all along,

She was really as good as nothing.

So she stopped hanging out,

Stayed home at family parties,

Pushed away her friends and sports,

Unable to tell them 'sorry.'

She sat at the back of the class,

As her grades and hood went down,

And stopped telling jokes,

Quit playing her beautiful sounds.

She didn't laugh very much,

Her smile was long wrecked,

And everyone forgot

About how once she was perfect.
