Lock & Key
"You're a tough girl."
He thinks that he knows.
"You'd never cry,
and pain, you won't show."
But what I have done
is what he can't see;
what I've been through
and what I can't be.
I've locked all the doors,
so no one's let in.
Can't live through it all;
just not again.
I've done this before,
but it doesn't come free.
So he'll have to earn
the new lock and key.
