A young boy
eager to love
sets his eye
on a beautiful dove

She made him feel special
the way that girls do
the feelings he had
seemed so new

He was foolish
and caring
she was sexy
and daring

He wanted her
and for awhile
she wanted him
with a smile

Things are different now
they're no longer together
but maybe their friendship
will last forever

Would he have done it over again?
Who can say what could have been?

I don't actually remember writing this. I was looking through an old journal and I found it. I thought it was really good so I thought I would publish it for others to see.
