Far away, across the sea,
My lover, yes, he calls to me.

I wish that I could meet him there,
In death or life, it matters not where.

But the sea stretches on,
It does not care,

Without an end, without a bound
And I fear my love will never be found

The author's comments:
I was inspired by a windy, stormy day, and was feeling a little loney. I think we all sometimes feel the sense of loss and solitude in this poem and I hope that everyone feeling it will realize they are not alone.
