Would the waves be calm as they ride the sea?,

Could you alter the future yet not change the past?,
Could you make Love &relationships actually last?,

Would the grass shine greener, the sky more blue?,
Would you be forever loving &true?,

Could you rename Hatred &all of his allies?,
Could you recant all endings &saddened goodbyes?,

Would Truth see beyond Lies &his nasty disguise?,
Would Fate look me straight into my blue eyes

And tell me that our Time is now
to cause some change—someway, somehow..
