Oh, He Loved Me So
Love is a wine of which I first sipped
A couple of million of summers ago.
He held my hand to his lips,
Oh, he loved me so.
Then I jumped miles,
My heart quickly soared
For the boy with the smile
Just the next door.
Love at first is sweet you know,
Hand-holding and precious kisses all!
Lord! He loved me so.
I didn’t know I was just another doll.
There were others you see,
Others he held and kissed,
Going about so happily,
His treachery we missed.
It was a couple of million of summers ago,
And yet, I still think-
Oh, he loved me so,
For his mark is darker than ink.
