Everything is peaceful
Not a fear in sight
Beamed upon the palm trees
Is a ray of pure sunlight
Calm little waves
Roll upon the dry sand
Coming up one after another
As they wet the dehydrated land
A line of sea foam
Floats along the shore
Each little wave
Brings more and more
My toes are in the sand
My eyes take it all in
Things are waking up now
Ready for another day to begin
