Visions
The wind blowing,
 my heart glowing.
 No reason to fear,
 because you are here.

 Just in spirit,
 I can hear it.
 But it’s only me;
 the world cannot see.

 My tongue is tied.
 I don’t know why.
 My mind is tangled;
 my thoughts are jangled.

 I sit in sun
 while you have fun.
 I am all alone
 as the day does drone.

 As one ponders,
 my mind wanders.
 Waiting for that kiss
 that my lips have missed.

 Played many times,
 I create rhymes
 to put to paper
 imagined capers.

 Top of my mind –
 thoughts left behind.
 The front of my brain
 do memories stain.

 Stricken each night;
 full of delight.
 Dreams are filled with you
 and things that you do.

 Caboose* hugged tight,
 I’m done tonight.
 My body drifts to
 sweet visions of you.
