A melancholy sadness lingers in our presence
A dull heartbeat shows the true essence
Of a wounded soldier fighting for life
Shattered and torn between each fief

Pearl beads fall from the darkening sky
The harbinger of inevitable lies
Coming forth from the shadows within
Deafening cruelty threatening to begin

Solitary cries sound from the land
The imperative saviour is in demand
For the people fear the malevolent deeds
Watching the descended as they bleed

Forced to remain in this world of anguish
Sanguine dreams depart their language
Unrest mauls as a silent beast
Violence strives to never cease
