Dog Fight
There once was a dog,
who sat in the fog.
He wanted to run,
For he was on his bum.
But he was afloat,
For he was on a boat.
He wanted to bark,
For he was scared in the dark.
Then came a cat,
who was fat and black.
The dog began to bark,
As if he’d seen a shark.
He got off his bum,
and began to run.
He tried to attack,
But fell on his back.
He broke his hip,
For he had slipped.
Then the cat attacked,
And jumped on his back.
The cat used his claws,
As the dog flung his paws.
He went down in pain,
As it began to rain.
