Tuesday
Tuesday I was drowned in love
 Beset by concrete cheeks,
You'd have to close your eyes to feel
 The frenzy-stricken heat.

Drenched in fear, but wanting more
 He's wrapped around my feet,
Forgets to breathe and handles me
 Now vague, unsure and weak.

Constrained to keep my mouth closed shut,
 I dare not even speak,
Of how I want, and how I need
 His care and his physique.

He takes a risk and parts his lips,
I part mine just to weep,
Because of what I failed to say
 When we were sinking deep.

Tuesday I was drowned in love,
 And out I cannot sleep,
I only guilt of what I missed
 When I dared not replete.
