Seasons Of Life
Spring is a time
To celebrate new life.
A new beginning,
An infants cry.
The cool, gentle winds
Begin fall low.
And summer sets in
With it's warm, sunny glow.
You're in a place of changes,
Of growing up.
There are long nights.
And things get tough.
As summer passes,
You can now handle the heat.
Then golden leaves begin
To fall around your feet.
The air becomes cooler.
Your mind is more clear.
You understand a little better.
No insignificant fear.
Each stage is just season
And you're almost to the last.
Snow flakes are on your lashes
You dream of your past.
Snow gently falls around you,
As you slip away.
You gave all you had.
Now there’s no more to say.
