No lie

My brother left this world with my love
Now he watches over me everyday from above
He loved me from the very start
And we were never supposed to be apart
Sometimes when I'm alone I start to cry
Wondering deep down in my heart why
God had to take him instead of me
And why he couldn't just let my brother be
I know he would have wanted it this way
And If i could see him again, i would simply say
I will love you until the day I die
And that my darling is no lie
