Angel Tears
My deepest thoughts provides warmth I had sought
Like being cradled in a mothers arms a feeling I had forgot
How I miss that warmth and safety and the love
Isolation once drove me to a breaking point
But like the black flame of the candles I'll rejoice
And dance with such grace in the northern winds
As the angels tears flow down the stream
It reveals to me the purity of my new dreams
The words are vague and then simple at last
Surviving forever, meant to outlast
My darkest days cried angels tears
As she stands watching over me
Light met shadow long ago
Quite unlike fire embracing winter snow
But together they exist because love is strong
Just like when she was there when I did wrong
As she guides me by the hand
And shows me the beauty of distant lands
I call upon her in times of sorrow and regret
But now also for times of happiness and I shall relent
Though a shadow lives inside of me
I know she is watching over me
I know she is watching over me..............
Still.............the son she'll always love
