The Wolf
The Wolf
In the grass a fawn does tremble;
because of her stature, so weak and nimble.
Through the woods the wolf does creep,
nearly slipping on a slope quite steep.
Hearing all of the leaves crash,
the fawn is up and begins her dash.
The wolf hustles and gives chase,
but the fawn had a head start it’s quite a race.
The wolf is old and tires quickly;
so his plans must become more nifty.
