Seeing Through a Mirror
The sound of nails scraping pierced the air
There was not a bit of light
There knelt a girl beside a black wall
Full of fear and fright
Her nails ground down to nothing
Sweat dripping down her face
Her sitting in the dark black room while shaking
Just seems so out of place
Her eyes darting
Looking everywhere
But they fell on nothing
For there was not anything anywhere
Helplessly scraping on the black wall
Making a chalkboard sound
UN successfully cleaning
Nothing falling to the ground
Legs folded underneath her body
Pants filthy with dirt
Hair matted and knotted
Sweat stains on her shirt
Yelling from insanity
Many would fear her
For the scratching at the black wall
Were the failed attempts of seeing through a mirror
