Sorry Sister

I am truly sorry my spastic sister,
For taking a bite of your chocolate chip cookie,
The warm melting treat makes a tongue twister,
That lets me spread my wings like a restless rookie.

As you hopped away silently like an innocent, infant rabbit,
I quickly leaped to my opportunity to grab it,
That tender, tasty treat made my mouth water,
Until my sister, barged into the room, and appallingly shouted “Got her!”

I know you might take revenge and create scenery,
Yet despite that, I want you to feel with your heart and soul.
The delicious piece I crunched was a great mystery,
That reminded me of the box of cookies you once stole.

There are some days when payback can be bitter sweet and this ironic poem affiliates with sibling love. People should grasp that even an apology can be sarcastic and humorous at times.
