Do not show me what
I do not want to see.
I do not want to know what is to
become of me.
I do not want to see an unsuccessful path
all because of math.
I do not want to see a person not taking a bath
because they were so daft.
I do not want to see what has become of me
because I do not want to know
who I will be.
I am afraid that I will not succeed
because I will feel there is no need.
I do not want to see a bad test score
or anything more.

Please don’t show me any of these things.
Most importantly please don’t show me
what I don’t want to see the most.
It isn’t bad hair or unfashionable clothes.
It is far worse.
It’s failure in the most.
